Auction excitement, Matt Damon, more fic.
Sep. 25th, 2010 11:26 pmThings:
- I am watching Good Will Hunting. 13 years after the movie came out, and the whole conversation about soul mates in this movie still...well, it still, let's just leave it at that.
- My brother called me yesterday. Way to go on the never speaking to me again thing, bro. It lasted a whole 4 days. I didn't answer. I didn't call back. He left a voicemail that said he still had some "ideas". No. Just...no.
- Josh is being lovely lately. I am enjoying my time spent with him. Yay boyfriends.
- I enjoyed the season premiere of CSI. I didn't so much enjoy Grey's. This is somewhat surprising to me.
- I went on this whole twitter twitchange adventure yesterday and this afternoon. GNR announced they were participating yesterday afternoon and it was just something I had to do. I bid on it and I was the highest bidder for a long time. Then I was outbid and I was sad, but I let it go. Then when I woke up this morning, I decided, hey, what good is money anyway? Sure I'm a week away from closing on a new house, but why is that important, really? So I made a higher bid. And for 4 whole hours, I was thisclose to winning that goddamned auction. So close. Then, with 12 minutes left, after GNR retweeted me saying that we were about to be BFFs, someone outbid me. I bid $405, the winning bid was $610. *sigh*
The winner of the auction gets followed by GNR for 3 months. I know, in the grand scheme of life, this is not a big deal and not worth $405. But for me, it would have been more than worth it. To be acknowledged by my favorite band of all time in that way, OMG. It just would have been really cool. However, after I did just a tiny bit of begging, I did make this happen:

The whole "constant" thing made me feel like such a loser for some reason. Maybe I should take my GNR tweeting down a notch. But then they'd miss me, so yeah. It was just really nice that I was thanked for the support that I've tried so hard to show for so very long. Sometimes things happen to make it worth it to be such a huge, retarded fan.
ANYWAY.
Here is this.
Title: We'll Always Have Boston - Chapter 8 and 9
Author: Lizwontcry - AKA artist formerly known as Butliz.
Rating: This chapter is M for MATURE.
Disclaimer: CSI and its characters don't belong to me.
Summary: Between meeting at the Forensics Academy Conference and working together in Vegas, Sara attends Grissom's lecture in Boston. She can't help but wonder what could happen between the two of them, but as usual, Grissom's feelings run hot and cold.
( Unlike the first kiss, the last kiss was perfect... )
