That really is my cubicle. See the picture my co-worker made me of 2 people wearing CSI shirts? Yeah. I know you're jealous.
Also, another one of my co-workers is so anti Valentine's Day that it's actually a little frightning. She doesn't have a boyfriend, hasn't had one in quite a while, and has pretty much talked about how evil this day is for the past 2 weeks. I think she thinks it's cute? I don't know. But it's really not cute.
But me and another co-worker (the CSI drawing one) gave her some anti-Valentine's Day cards and some candy, and I felt good about that. I thought maybe it would cheer her up a little, but really, I don't know if it did or not. She at least hasn't bitched about it all day long, anyway.
Here is the poem I wrote for her in the card I made:
It's a day with roses and candy
but you don't find it dandy
in your eyes, it is Black Saturday
you aren't leaving the house, no way
but when you love yourself and your faith,
then on v-day, you're safe
because some people don't need a boyfriend to enjoy life
even if v-day does cause strife!
*tear*
P.S. I will be posting later tonight when I finish my smutathon fic, 'cause I need me a beta who doesn't mind reading Riley/Greg/Nick with a slight bit of slash involved. Not too much slash 'cause I don't even know how to go there, but some. Fun!
