- So I did 7.5 hours of overtime today. Grand total of overtime for the last 2 weeks: 31 hours. I really hope it's worth it and my paycheck doesn't screw me over. Also, I'm done doing that much overtime for a while. It sucks, it screws with your head, it messes up my posture, my neck hurts and I dream about men with mullets who host shows called Team Building: Manufacturing.
- Bravo is showing the West Wing again. 5 years ago when I lived in Austin and they first started airing reruns, I fell in love. I was unemployed and had nothing better to do than watch it 4 times a day when it was on TV. I dreamed about it, I talked about it all the time, it was my show. Then I forgot about it. But now I remember, and it's good, it's oh so good. The first time around I didn't care about shipping anyone, but now that I have ship brain, I think I'm starting to feel the CJ-Toby action. Anyone know of any (GOOD) fanfic?
I watched Let Bartlet be Bartlet today. OMG. Chills.
I've been alternating my West Wing love with my Sex and the City love. I really, really love Sarah Jessica Parker. I'm aware that this is an unpopular opinion, and I'm okay with that.
- I think I'm a little behind on Nano but I'm not worried. No overtime this week = more time for writing. I'm up to 12,351 words and most of it is total crap but I won't let that bother me. I put my very first Nano novel in 2002 online, and sometimes, for shits and giggles, I like to go back and read it. I think some parts of it are good, but seriously? That awful story is proof that I have, if nothing else, grown as a writer. Maybe I'll share some awesome snippets with my viewing audience at some point, because seriously...it's bad, y'all.
- I have been in a better mood today. Thank you for your kind words on the last entry, I don't have the heart to respond in the way I should. Sometimes I feel emo, I'm allowed, right? So thank you for the niceness.
- I really want to play online Monopoly but I can't find anything that doesn't suck. Can anyone assist me with this problem?
- Tomorrow I will be finishing Ballad in Blue, a 1964 movie where Ray Charles helps young blind kids. I like it. It's corny but it has a nice message. And the 8-year-old British boy talks like a 35-year-old woman and it amuses me greatly.
- I need to work out this week. It is vital to my existence.
- That is all.
