So my dad's farm is just far enough from the busyness of the city to be able to go outside and really listen. There was a thunderstorm in the distance and I was pretty sure I could hear the thunder from pretty far away. I have to say I enjoyed that thoroughly. I'm not sure why I love me the thunderstorms so much, but it's just something I've never been able to get over. Good times, essentially.

Now that the storm has landed, I took some pretty incredible pictures that I'll share eventually. A late summer thunderstorm in East Texas is something to behold. I'm just sayin'.

Also, my boyfriend is no longer being a turd. I just thought that was important to know.

Oh, and also...it's that time of year where CSI has got me by the metaphorical balls. I am so its bitch, it's just ridiculous at this point. I've watched the promo 15 times at least, I'm reading (and writing) more fanfic than usual, it's just ON as far as my strange infatuation goes. But that's okay...it's exciting. I like it. And it'll probably be my last year for such infatuations since the reasons why I watch the show will no longer be on it with any frequency. Maybe I'll have to find a hobby or something! *cries*

Anyway,

I lost another pound, for a total of 13 pounds (12.8 if you want to be technical about it) since July 14th. I am reasonably happy with that. If I followed the plan exactly it would have been more, but you do have to allow for fucking up every now and then. I fucked up a lot this week, I know that, and I'll be better next week.

Next week will be a little bit of a challenge because I'm taking 2 days off and going to Austin to see my brother. But I'll work out while I'm there and it's not like we're going to Whataburger every day while I'm there, either. My brother is a foodie and I'm sure I'll eat well. Plus, I didn't know that when I made my plans, the next Monday after that is Labor Day. So that gives me a lot of time to work out and figure out what I need to be doing.

So, once again:

Current weight: 198
Goal weight: 135
Pounds to goal weight: 63.

I do want to be awesome in September because there's just so much happening in October that I want to be ready for, so...we will see.
