Ouch.

I really need to adjust my coming back from road trips and sliding into my old routine a little better. It hurt to wake up this morning. A lot.

This was one of the only road trips I ever felt guilty on. I was gone for three school days, missed 3 days of work. That's not cool. But yeah. It was fun!

Anyway.. let me present to you some observations of road trips.

1. Baton Rouge, Louisiana to Hawkins, Texas (where BB's mom is) is a very.long.journey. Especially when the car radio decides not to work because a fuse is blown. There was some very tense conversations that took place. We'd usually be okay in that situation, but it was a long ride home, we'd been together 5 days straight, and yeah. It was time to go home.

2. BB's mom finally likes me! She said, "I just wanted to tell you that the little chat we had the other day was so nice." Awww. After almost 4 1/2 years, the woman finally says something nice about me. It's a breakthrough!

3. When you have to wait an hour and a half to pee because you're in a hurry and can't stop, yeah, that sucks.

Achoo.

Anyway, last night I got really excited. Why is this? I went to Hastings last night and FINALLY found the magazine I was looking everywhere for for the past month and a half. Here's the cover if you want to see the greatness that I purchased. I almost had an orgasm right there in the store! Oh my.

I had to keep myself from buying The Sims. It's 30 bucks! But I really really want it! It looks like fun!

Oh, and I'd like to give a shout out to the chick who won a gold medal in the snowboarding competition. She won with "Welcome to the Jungle" blaring in the background. That's some good times right there.
